If you think there was a buzz of excitement at our house when we found out we were going into lockdown you are wrong , well, sort off correct, anyway, let me show you the lockdown chart. It isn't entirely true but I did this blog for the fun of it. Also for a bit of a laugh.

Story starters

 IN THE DEEP DARK WOOD

This is a poem about the deepest, darkest, spookiest wood that ever lived.Well,It's not exactly spooky but it is about a boy who dared to go in and adventure the Deep,dark wood. 

                     The deepest darkest wood

In the Deep,Dark,Spooky Wood,

There was a rustle in the trees,

The grass had started to sway,

I wondered what the noise was,

 That I heard yesterday.

Well that's it I guess, I hope this inspired you to write fascinating poems like I do.Give me feedback in a blog comment or just a thumbs up.

The other day,

The other day, 

The other day I was striving in my quickwrite, and was hoping that it was good enough for  the teacher.  In fact, I was even hoping that the teacher would like the maori sentence  I put in.

My topic,or in other words ss(story starter)was Toby new this was a bad idea.  Yes ,maybe it was a little edgy but I like it.  But I've also got a pointer, My next sentence was picking up the phone and answering it, But  If he knew it was a bad idea ,why did he do it.  He must have some common sense.

Well,I must say the rest of my story apart from that little detail was fine,  So I guess that means I achieved my goal.  The teacher read my  story starter and and said it was so good she read it to the whole class,Also Kyla-Rose and I got the maori certificate for the week so this has been the best day ever.

Today we had writing and we were learning about were commas should go.   The teacher gave us a sheet that had sentences on it.  At first I didn't know  what it was for but  then  she started to explain .   I could tell other people didn't know what it was for either but within seconds everyone was furiously working away. 

Within seconds I had gotten the hang of it and was working away like mad.I had finally finished and only a few other people had finished.  Woohoo!  I had started after but had actually finished before some people.

Anyway I'll give you two examples of were a comma should go.

The Olympics

The Olympics

 I don't know bout you, but lately I've been watching the Olympics on T.V  And  So far it is Incredible.   I am cheering for NZ and my favorite athlete ELLA WILLIAMS.  She is amazing and you will hear a bit more about her in the next paragraph.

Ella williams:

Ella williams is a surfer.  She was born on the 13 of january 1995 .She is 26 and her hometown is or was Whangamata.  Her first ever Olympics was in 2020/2021.  Her achievement was to be world champion surfer.

Mascots

The mascots Of the olympics are Miratowa and Someity .  Someity is the one that is mascot for the paralympics , Miratowa is the mascot that represents the opposite to the paralympics .  Together they make a great team.

The olympics is an event that only happens every four years. So, make sure every time the event comes round you turn on the t.v and watch the  Olympics.  Cheer for whatever country you live in and Most of all, try you hardest to be the one of the people in the   Olympics.

Rugby balls

Today I will be showing you my poem about rugby balls.It is what we did this morning at p.e.  Room one played with the basketball when we played with the rugby.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy my post about  balls.

Whizz!  A spinning spiral spinning round and round.  Not even near to touching the ground.

Flys through the air, although as heavy as a rock.It's smooth on the bottom and smooth on the top.

Slips through your hands not making a dent.  You need to make sure to keep your arms a little bit bent.

The little ball,  flies through the air.  Setting of a tiny FLARE.

Rugby  balls do not bounce.  Instead they sort of have more of a pounce.

They are not flat edged.  That is what I always said.

 If you are playing rugby you need to make it spin.  Make sure you you keep a smile on your chin.

Do not let it land in a hedge.There are the rules that I pledge.

Maths Number El3 2021

Today is the 26.5.2021.And I am writing a blog post about something that happened today.  It is the number group we did .It has all of the work I want to do all in one workshop.Crazy cool,Right.  So I will be telling you a little bit of the things that we did.

First of all I wanted to tell you about The numbers we did.   Seeing if both the numbers that we had to write equaled the same answer.  And if you don't believe me just skim read all the way down to the bottom and You will see a photo to prove that I did it.  I feel like it ids a pretty good sheet.
