Macrame at the craft fair

MACRAME AT THE CRAFT FAIR

Recently Wainui Beach School had the craft. As you know they do it every year. There are games, sweats, Raffles and a guessing game (how many lollies are in a jar). If you came to the craft fair you might know that Room 1 made macrame. You might think that Macrame is one of the hardest things to do. It's easy really. I really enjoyed making macrame and learning how to tie different knots.

HOW TO MAKE MACRAME (YOUTUBE IS GOOD TO WATCH

MATERIALS

    1. A roll of string that is thick and says macrame
    2.  Deer antlers or drift wood.

                                                                  xbcdvxchjdbchbdhc
METHOD
  1. Unrapp the string and Cut 16 pieces of string 1.5 m long.
  2. Tie a speceil knot onto the antler or driftwood.
  3. Start on one side, hold four pieces of string. Get the two pieces in the middle.
  4. Make a L shape in the front of the middle strings.
  5. Go behind the middle string and you have the knot.
    1. Do the same on the other side.

Tonui collab

''Wow''.I whisper as we walked into the place called tanui collab.A person asked us to sit down so she could introduce herself.'' My name is Juls. She said and this is tanui collab.

She told us to do a maze with ping pong balls and we had a debugger and a robot.I was a robot first and I had to Follow Millie's orders.

Than we had to do something else and we had to use paper arrows to control our partner. After we had finished we had to use a thing called a maze with dimonds and eyes and we had to use a lego person to go through the maze and we had to right a code using arrows.

After that we had brainfood and also we had to get a drivers licence to use a sphero robot and drive it around the room. Some people made there's change colour and some made it make chicken noises.  Than my mum arrived and my group had to drive back to school.

Skipping

 Skipping!

Every morning Room One gets their graphs and hurrys outside to do SKIPPING, because It will help us improve and get fit to do cross country. Koka Anna would time our skips for 15,30 and 45 seconds.

My skipping  buddy is Millie because we are a green handle. We have to count each other's skips and write them down on a white board. We use the green handle because the yellow handle is long and we would only have a short amount of time left before the other person's turn to skip.

When we first started we had to have a person that had the same size skipping rope as us because we don’t want to use up too many skipping ropes. Sometimes I do more than 100 skips.
